So, if you won a sinfully ridiculous amount of money by playing the lotto... would you share with friends and family who come begging? I remember hearing about someone who won the lotto and all of a sudden, people from his old schooldays weer coming to his door and "lost" relatives and such. So, what would you do?

Well if I won an amount that would sufficiently make my lifer comfortable for the rest of my life then it is a neccesity that you would help people that are close to your heart. I think you should learn to give something out of it. But then if they are obviously does not need help they just want some share then its not worth it of course. What is difficult to do is how to refuse someone you think does not deserve helping.

I have often dreamt about winning the lotto and what I would do with the money. One thing is for sure I know that you would suddenly have a whole bunch of new friends or old friends back in your life. I would share some of my winnings with my immediate family a couple of my closest friends. The best thing you could give your family is by setting them up, paying off their mortgage so they can sit back and relax. With friends I would probably by them a brand new car. That is what i would do with the money. Then have a splurge myself and be smart with the rest and invest. Then later i could share more with my family and close friends.

If I won the lotto (um, I would first have to bet though... hehe), I would keep it to myself (the part about my winning, that is). Why tell everyone about if there are so many risks involved? For heaven's sake, you could be kidnapped or something! I would just continue living a simple life (like no obvious major purchases like huge mansions or luxury cars or cruises!) and live it as if nothing really grand happened.
