Many...or few?

I know a lot of people and I have lots of acquaintances. I am very easy to get along with and I have a ready smile for everybody. That is probably the reason why I always get noticed and I'm easy to be remembered. But for me, there's a big difference between the people you just know, people you always see and meet and the people who you treasure. That's the reason why I keep only a few friends...my very best friends...people who will always have a special place in my heart. In friendship, which would you prefer...quantity or quality?
