With all the new things that are coming out with cable(time warner, suddenlink, verizon) and satellite(direct tv, dish network, fta). Some of the services offer on demand. NOw if the movie people were smart they would make it so that people could watch current movies from home when they come out. But then that might put an end to dvd and other video media that are out. But that would be cool. When a new movie comes out you can order it for one flat fee and watch it sitting in your living room instead of going to the movies. What do some of you think about that??

For those that can wait for it to come out on DVD or cable tv will definitely decrease sales at the box office. It does not take as long to come on cable tv once it has hit theaters and it is cheaper to stay home.

you have to wait for the movie to come out on dvd before it comes on tv. I have been checking on that. On demand and ppv will get movies that have just come out on dvd but the catch is; not all the movies will be on ppv or on demand.

I don't know but as I notice these days, people are amazed of what Internet can offer them, it's almost available there and they just depend on it. Although watching movies on the big screen is quite different, really. But think of how much you spend. Why not look for them on the free-gives way. hehehe..
