Now, I'm used to having a bruise show up one day and having to think back a coupld days to figure out what happened to me, but this time it's a bit much... The other day my eye had a little something in it, no big deal, I took care of it pretty quickly. But I noticed that my eye was a bit sore, I thought it was just from whatever it was in my eye. Well, the next morning I wake up and I've almost got a black eye. It's pretty swollen and purple on the lid. No clue what happened. Then the next day my ankle is hurting me. It's very painful to walk, but I don't remember twisting it or anything. It's still a little swolen today, but I wore my boots for support so it doesn't hurt too much. But I'd sure like to know how I'm getting hurt! Now, the burn on my thumb is from when I tried to iron it this morning. This has just been a sore week for me. I hope it's not going to continue...

You might have hurt you eye in your sleep. I woke up in one time with my eye swollen one time that i had scratched my corena. I do not know when I did that. You may have done the ankle the same way. Who knows it may be the ghost how lives in your room waiting to beat you up in your sleep. heee heee.

If it's a ghost, I sure do wish it was Casper!

Hi I too bruise easily and often I cannot remember how I got it but when your eye swelled up and turned purple I think I would see my doctor just to be sure it is not something really serious. I am what I call a klutz, in that I can stumble over the most innocent looking things and some weeks it seems like nothing goes right for me.Could be you are under a bit of stress or strain.do you live alone or with a significant othercould be you need a little bit of comforting from your bestfriend. cheets. But for your eye and your ankle that sounds serious enough to consult your doctor.

The swelling and bruise is going away, so I don't know that I'll go to the doctor. I figured I'd give it a couple days first.

I hate when this happens. I will have a bruise and wonder how did I get that! Sometimes I can think back and say oh yeah, thats because I ran into that chair the other day. Then there are other times, that I can't recall what I did to get the bruise. I know about aches and pains. Especially with the extreme weather changes we have beenn having this winter. My body will ache, my right side, especially my shoulder these days!

Oh man, don't even get me started on my back... I was just talking to a girl at work this week about bruises on our thighs - from bumping into a desk. We've got them in the same place!

Having recurrent bruises I believe is not really a good sign. May I recommend that perhaps it be best that you see a doctor and at least a blood examination be taken. Bruises usually refer to some abnormality in the blood. Hope it is not really something serious. I had a friend who had frequent bruises and it turned out that she had an abnormality in her platelets. On the other hand, I had another friend with same problem, she was told by her doctor that it was caused by an allergy.

It doesn't happen that often, usually just when I've bumped something pretty hard. The one problem is though, the bruise doesn't show up for a day or two so I have to try to remember what I did.

I have heard before that some people are easier to bruise than others and I am the same way usually I can just bump something and get bruised up...but I have never been as bad as you say that you are about being able to be bruised up...and really I have never heard of anyone that has either..you may want to go to the doctor and see whats wrong

Oh, it's not like it's all the time. I bruise pretty infrequently actually. It's just hard to remember what I did because the bruise shows up a couple days later.
