Our families are important but with some many people maxing out their credit cards and with no fmaily to turn to what do you do when your back is against the wall with no where to turn?

i tried my best to make saving when i receive my monthly salary. so if there is worst thing happened as like out of money, i still have something. if not, usually i would borrow money from my friends. i prefer doing this rather than borrow from my family.

Sometimes it can be pretty hard to plan for things when there are kids in the house! There always seem to be something more then need (not just want). And if a person owns a car, a funny noise or a pot hole can cost a couple hundred bucks in no time! Do you have other sources of income you can draw from if you needed to? Do you have an emergency fund?

I think the idea of keeping an electonic emergency fund going is a great idea! Once can't really accumulate too much but it is that little extra to keep things moving. Sometimes it takes awhile to actually get a check so I am sure there has be some some kind of plan ahead of time so it reaches you on time. Have you ever faced something so unexected that you weren;t prepared for it?

That is one thing I also dread. I know families are the first one you think of but what if like me if you have no family to fall back on. There is simply no solution but just to be careful how you spend and where you invest. You have to take care of yourself. Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

I just cashed in my coin bank to make sure I have enough fuel until we get paid again next week. There was almost $30 in this little container! It is amazing how much those coins can add up over time. I am hoping to put even more in an emergency fund. The economics around here is very rough and I hear more and more how bad things are for people. It is the small habits, like saving coins, as one of points of getting ahead.

I used to go to my parents for money and sometimes I actually had to go our church for help. It is wonderful how there are people there to help but the idea of a handout is something that I am not comfortable with at all. I am careful with every dime I get but with kids its pretty hard to know exactly is coming around the corner! Do you have extra source of income you can draw from?

Well, there are suckers here, and I have to, if necessary and no one to turn to. But in some cases I borrow from my sister and my best friend or my office mates. I also lend them money when they have nothing and need money. It is just a give and take arangement.

Pray. I've been penniless many times in my life, and the Lord always puts something in my path to help out. Sometimes its in the form of a check I wasn't expecting,or something else I'd forgotten about. His timing is always perfect.

It is incredible how much power and love the Lord has for us! I too have had times when money just seems to come when it is needed or something/someone appears when the time is right. The thought of someone as loving and powerful as the Father next to us 24/7 is a comforting feeling! Have you ever read the Left Behind series? Do you think we are in the end times as described in Revelation?

It neat to know we all have a mission here for us to fulfill! I was reading the Purpose Driven Life and I had to think how purpose driven I have been. Walking from one day to the next...one week to the next, not really accomplishing anything. But what is His purpose for me?
