Well as you know I started my cabbage soup diet yesterday. So day one was unsuccessful for me. I lasted all day feeling very light headed, and more tired than ever! I had to get off the computer around 3pm and lay down. I had a nap until my little one got home from school, and then got up to pick up my hubby from work. At that point I was feeling better that I got some sleep. I felt like my stomach was empty and I didn't feel right, so I went all evening not wanting to eat, drink, or anything. So we went to bed quite early around 9pm because I just wanted to go to sleep and forget about the hunger. I got up with my hubby and we had something to eat! I said forget it! I can't do this, it's making me sick. So I would have to say that I don't recomend this cabbage soup diet to anyone! Now my guilty feeling is that I went out and bought $40 of ingredients and now what do I do with it. I eat tons of fruit and vegies but I'll just have to use it all up before it goes bad. My intentions were to make 2 batches of this cabbage soup to last for the whole 7 days I was suppost to do it for. I've been on a weight lose system that has been working for me, and I've lost 17 pounds from that. It's been since Dec 29/2007 (was suppose to be my new years resolution). I fell off the wagon from the weekend because I thought I would reward myself for doing so well, but I ended up staying off of it for a couple days after that, then on Monday I went on a splurge and bought some stuff from the Bakery. Because of that, I thought I would try this cabbage soup diet, but I failed in that department also! I figure if something is working, then don't try to fix it! In otherwords.. don't fix anything that isn't broken. I've learned a valueable lesson from this. Now I guess I'll pick up where I left off with my other weightlose system and continue to reach my goal.

That's no problem, do what you like to do, even that's very hard. Life is full of change.

I have tried all kinds of diets and they don`t work!!! None of them work, you NEED calories to burn fat and speed metabolism BUT the right amount of calories. Too few calories being consumed in a day is just as bad as consuming too much! Imagine what will happen once you eat normal foods again after going off of a diet! Your body will go into starvation and when you consume, say 1500 calories worth of food, you will end up GAINING on that instead of losing. Unfortunately the ONLY thing that will help you lose weight is eating well, reasonable portions, lots of water and exercise. Its the ONLY way.. but.. once in a while you can have a treat too!! Working for me... and unfortunately there is no such thing as a quick fix, hard for me to accept but I finally did.

hi mbs, I started up on my weightloss system that was working again for me and I'm right back on track again where I left off. It feels good again. I'm not overeating and I'm breaking down my portions again. It's actually worked for me for the last two months and I'm happy with myself again. Thanks for your comment
