Cinnamon Toast

After reading a discussion last night that talked about Cinnamon Toast I decided to make it this morning for myself and my son for breakfast. I have not had it in a LONG time. My 8 year old son tried it and HATED it. I forgot that he did not like it. I guess that explains why I have not made it in so long. So, I ate his piece and mine. The baby didn't get any. Too much sugar for her so early in the morning.
Do you eat Cinnamon toast? When was the last time you had some?

OH MY, i love cinnamon toast. its the best kind of toast ever. i haven't eaten it in so long though.
i also love cinnamon tortillas! yummy.

Yeah , I don't have it all that often too. I use to make it when i was a kid with sugar , cinnamon , and butter . Never made the icing then

I make my own version of cinnamon
toast in the George Foreman grilling
machine, but add a bit of honey or
syrup. It's really good.
I don't make mine with egg though as
some do.
I love anything with cinnamon.

Hello, I love cinnamon toast , bagels , and rolls . Most times it has to have lots of butter . The rolls are really good with icing .I don't have it all that much though.

Oh I love cinnamon toast. I make it quite often... in fact I have a old cinammon container that I added sugar to and the kids just have to sprinkle the cinnamon/sugar mixture on to their toast when ever they want it! It sits on the back of the stove with the other stuff back there! LOL

I used to love Cinnamon Toast. First, toast the bread. Butter, Sugar, Cinnamon. Then nuke it in the microwave so the sugar and cinnamon melted and made a hard crunchy crust. I guess it was an excuse to eat sugar and call it breakfast.
I performed a similar trick with hot tea -- lots of sugar. Oh, my goodness me. :)

That sounds so good. I have not had cinnamin toast in years. I don't think my kids have ever had it. I will have to make them some tommorow since they are out of school for the day I bet they will love it. Thanks for reminding me of that wonderful snack.
