How much on average do you spend per week on chocolate?

I would say that between 4 of us, we spend £8 / $15 + a week on chocolate, and then other small bits and pieces. Just wondered how much people spent per week, also do you think you are a chocoholic? and which one do you like most, white, milk or dark? i prefere milk and white. Chris

I just got back from the grocery store. The Kroger in my area typically does not carry the Dove Unconditional Chocolate ice cream. I was on a quest, 2 kroger's and no Dove unconditional chocolate ice cream???? I went to the Giant Eagle and there it was, and on sale at that! So, I bought 2 of them for $7.00. I don't know what that equates to in pounds, but to me, it was worth it, at least this week. In addition to that, I buy the Dove dark chocolate candy in the red and dark brown bag. It is to die for! So, just with those two items, about $10.00 this week. Next week may be different, I may spend nothing at all, because some of this will be left over. Dark chocolate, to be sure! Not white or milk chocolate :)

I am one of those rare people who hate chocolate. And yes, I have had milk, semi-sweet, bitter, Belgian, Swiss, German, US,.... I don't like any of it... it all tastes very bitter to me. Thanks Zelo

I prefer dark chocolate myself but can eat them all. No problem here. I really don't spend that much on it each week. Usually three times a year we will go to a family owned business to get their truffles and some other candy. Plus I still like just the plain old Hershey Bars or M&M's.

Sure there would be. You would probably each so much at first, then you wouldn't want any for a long time. LOL

Have you ever dabbled into melting chocolate and making your own creations? Yummy things can be homemade.

I probably spend about $3.00 a week. If I find a sale on those nice big chocolate bars for $1.00 each, I might stock up and spend quite a bit more. I do love my chocolate, but has to be certain kinds like Cadbury, Dove, Ghiardelli - that kind.
