I am looking for the name of a series - only ran about 2 seasons, but it was good. I belive Paul Sorvino (sorbino?) played the father but it was about this single woman, upper 20's early 30's and she was a bartender and she had a younger brother I think. Her father was a toll booth person. It took place I belive in Boston or some place in the east as the accent was obvious - chicago, or boston something like that. I want to say it was sometihng like "That's Life" but I can't find anything about it. It aired 2 maybe 3 seasons and was on Friday night in the late 1990's. I liked it unti they had her hook up with some guy and the theme of "single woman making it on her own" failed to be the theme anymore...maybe that is why they dropped it, people stopped watching it... but I was trying to find the DVD boxed set and can't find it.... any suggestions?

Oh crap! It is not for sale anywhere! I looked at Ebay, Half.com and Amazon.com. Any suggestions as to where they might have it! I'm really excited now that I know it ran for 5 years and not just 2!

It was called "That's Life" You can find information on imdb.com. I used to watch the show, too. It's possible that it hasn't been put on dvd.
