More On Radio Host Cunningham/McCain Situation

It was in the news the other day about radio talk show host Bill Cunningham making some disparaging remarks about Barack Obama at a rally for John McCain in Ohio while warming up the crowd. McCain immediately apologized to the media and denounced Cunningham, claiming he didn't know him, he didn't know why he was there and that it would never happen again. This didn't go over too well with Cunningham who later on his radio show said McCain had thrown him under the bus and said he was going to support Hillary Clinton. I understand most other right wing radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh have sided with Cunningham. Here's what I find interested about this story; McCain first said he'd never met Cunningham, which the radio host denied. Then McCain conceded that perhaps they had met once or twice. Cunningham also says he was hired by the McCain campaign specifically to toss "red meat" to the crowd. Apparently he did exactly what he thought was expected of him. Any thoughts on this? Is that what we can expect in the coming months until the November election? Annie
