BAD HAIR DAY! Going to the hairdressers later and today mine looks fab - typical

Every day for the last couple of weeks I have been able to do nothing with my hair so yesterday I booked an appointmet for the afternoon for a collect revamp as I was getting fed up with it. TODAY though it looks fantastic and I'm thinking perhaps maybe just get it trimmed instead. Typical! LOL! Why does this happen? So what do you do on a BAD HAIR DAY? Wear a hat, tie it up, book an appointment at hairdressers or nothing. Ellie :D

hi ellie i have extensions and they are fairly easy to keep and they are real hair,but i have a cut that i dont have to do much to if it gets untidy-am glad yours is looking good-but hairdressers are trained to make your hair look good to-my sister is on a course at the moment she has cut a few friends and family hair it looks great-and when you look good you feel good am really glad you shared this-your friend littleowl

Oh wow extentions, could afford those but gonna get my daughter to put some low lights on Sunday. I too got an easy manageable style and have woken today and yes I can actually do this one myself. Yippee. Lucky you have a hairdresser in the family, she will never be out of work eh! Ellie :D

hi ellie fortunatley because i've been with my hairdresser who does my extensions he does them quite cheaply and lets me pay him bit by bit if i cant do it in one go--am lcky to have my sis as a hairdresser she will be doing extensions next year so will see how much she carges if its more than what am already paying i expect i will stay with the one i'm with though-but am glad you are feeling good about you have had your hair done it is good to feel good if you feel good about yourself--many blessings littleowl

I either wear a hat or i pull it up in a pony tail. that's about it, unless i'm at home and just don't care what it looks like. LOL! God bless

i've definitely been there before. i had short hair about a year ago and when i had a bad hair day i wouldn't leave the house. lol! couldn't do anything with it. i know what you mean about the hairdressers though...they always get it just the way you want it and after the next day you never get it to look that way again. i used to hate that. LOL!

The same thing happens to me! For days it won't do anything then on the day I am supposed to get it cut it turns out very nicely! It's a bugger. I did leave it one time thinking I'd let it grow out and cancelled my appointment then two days later rebook and got it cut!

Hi Jill even though it was looking good before I went I am so pleased I did. Had a complete revamp and it is now short, spikey and I look good and feel good. I'm going to get my daughter on Mothering Sunday to put low lights in all over so the grey won't notice as much LOL now it is so short. I have got some intense red, a weird pink colour and normal low lights for a brunette so she be a FUN result, but won't go too mad it will be subtle ones. Ellie:D

I've been there..I usually just put it up and hope tomorrow it will do what I want it to do. My bad hair day is when I'm going out for a special occasion. I can always count on it..Never fails..;(

On my bad hair day I just make pony tail to smooth my look and cover it all.
I used to think that going to hairdresser will save my look, but it doesn't. They cut and style with round brush that I will never use at home.
I have learn to have longer hair and save some money out of my illusion that hairdresser will save my life.
When I have to style my hair it never looks the same as when hairdresser does. I always ask not to style, so I can see my real look...

I know what you mean about their styling, I am never able to recreate the look at home either. My hair wasn't quite long enough to tie back but I would have if it was. I'm just back now and look and feel wonderful. I have had a short choppy cut that I will be able to do myself so feel much better. The ends were getting very dry so it was overdue a good cut.
