How quickly do you get a response to one of your discussions, after you posted it? I just posted one and while I was working on another one I got responses already to the first one. I know this because after I posted the second one I went back to my email and there were already emails sent to me that I had a response to my discussion. I looked at it and it showed me that my discussion was posted 9 minutes ago and the first response was posted 6 minutes ago and the second 5 minutes ago and the third one 5 minutes ago and the fourth one 4 minutes ago. Wow, mylot is really fast posting these discussions and having them available for others to see so quickly. Have you ever looked to see how long it took for you to get a response? While I am posting this discussion I have to wonder if I will have some responses to my second discussion I posted, just before this one.

It is very fast I agree, I have posted a discussion and within a few minutes a response notification has come into my inbox, it's like wow that is quick! At first a trickle then a flood of responses! It is very quick, considering it takes time to type out a response, add the tags etc! Just goes to show that this is a fast up and coming site, very positive.

It seems to take a while sometimes for someone to post to my discussions. Some have been pretty quick. One I started yesterday seemed pretty quick. I can't say how long between my starting it and my first post but, it didn't seem like it was too long.

I think it all depends on your timing, and how busy Mylot is when you actually post your discussions. If there are too many members submitting discussions, then yours, goes off the board far too quickly for anybody to see it. On the other hand, if there are a lot of people just responding, and working on responding to new discussions, then they see yours come up as soon as you hit the "post discussion" button. Sometimes, mine are responded to very quickly and others, it takes a while, but keep up the good work, and try to remember your times of posting, so that you can post subsequent discussions at a similar time. Brightest Blessings

It's really rather difficult to predict what topics lots of people will pick up on. I posted a couple of discussions the other day and one of them seemed popular enough, but the other one about music didn't get a single response. I guess you have to work out your own methods and ideas for what works. You've got a response here though!
