Has anyone here worked as a TEFL or ESL teacher?

I want to teach English in Europe. Has anyone here taught or is teaching English to speakers of other languages? What is the experience like?

Hi, I am a TEFL teacher and I love it. It has been such a great experience and its amazing what you can bring to peoples lifes by listening and helping them learn English. I qualified nearly 2 years ago and did a TEFL course - I then worked in a school for good experience and now I work for an international school teaching English as well as privately. If teaching is something you are interested in, then go for it. Good luck

Hi, Thanks for responding, I do appreciate it. I will be teaching in Poland as part of a three weeks summer programme and I am hoping I can get at least a one year contract there:-)
