gotten your refund check? What are you planning to do with your refund check? I have not even started ours yet. I am late this year. I keep putting it off because we won a grand prize in a sweepstakes. Luckily we received some cash as part of the prize, which half went into the bank to pay if we owe taxes. I know we will probably have to pay state tax, since we live in the great tax state of Maryland. Thanks Gov. O'Malley. Federal hopefully we will break even. If we get anything back, we are going to use part of it to go camping this summer.

Nope I haven't gotten my done. I can't afford to get them done professionally and the last time I did them on a program like Turbo Tax I seriously screwed up. Tried having them done for free but their are too many people standing in line its like a three-four hour wait. I don't know what I am going to do and not to anxious either since my federal goes straight to student loans and I barely get anything back in state. I hate taxes!

Nope haven't done ours yet. Waiting to get my student loan dismissed first. Waiting to hear from the government on something besides you owing money takes such a long time! lol We we get it, Brian is going to get his license straight so he can drive again and if there is anything left, we are paying off my computer! WOO HOO!! lol Now when my student loan is dismissed, we get back the money they took from us and that will be even greater, as that is almost $800 I think. lol It may be more. :)

Just got ours figured out! Now I need to print and file. We do owe $864 between the state and the federal but it really isn't coming out of our pocket. I won a Biggie Sweepstakes and wound up going to Disneyland first class all the way along with seeing Hannah Montana and they gave us a cash award. So we banked half of that for taxes. So once I pay our taxes, I still have a nice little nest egg to get me through the summer, since I substitute teach. I would have probably had more deductions but they all got washed away in our water damage to our house. Oh well, will be saving everything for next year. What a relief!!!

I've done mine in January and it's over and done with now. Matter of fact, I'm looking forward to the Stimulus one in May.

Nope it is one of my chores to do today actually, I have to gather it all up and then off to the tax lady. I hope to get enough back to purchase a better car. Then I shall put the rest in savings, for vacation or when I need it.

I haven't started my taxes yet. I'm still missing a T4 from my last job, a tax form from my tuition and I still need to do the numbers for my business. I wish the past employer and my old school would make speedy with their paperwork so I could just get this tax stuff over with and get on with my life. I hate doing taxes. My refund this year is going to pay off some debt, and get squirrelled away in the bank for a rainy day. That, and I want to put some aside to get my tattoo finished.

Our refund has been nice and warm tucked away in the savings account for several weeks now. We are hoping it will still be there this time next year. Last years refund almost made it to this year, but we had unexpected living expenses come up in the past couple months and we had to deplete it. Very thankful it was there to use!
