I concur Avast is light on resources (when its not updating of course ;P ) and has both a real-time scanner and a DOS scanner all for free with the Home edition. The pro edition also has this cool malicious script blocker for IE and Outlook which are known to be VERY hackscript prone. Free version includes realtime scanner for messengers and P2P programs as well to make sure you don't get any of those sneaky viruses floating around

F-Prot does! At least the DOS version of it (which is freeware). See http://www.f-prot.com/download/home_user/download_fpdos.html. And they still release virus signature updates for it! The only problem is that they don't have any support anymore, except for the virus signatures, which are the same as the Windows (v3.xx), Linux, and Unix versions. But since it's already freeware, why not? :p
