In INTEL 8085 MP's flag register only 5 out of 8 bits are used,why didnt they use 5 bit register instead of 8 bit register as they use only 5 bots and left 3 bits empty? Any logical answer?

Yea, I believe that's been the problem of my star rating of being to straight forward.
