We usually buy a lottery ticket every Wednesday and Saturday. Just like any other people who are dreaming and hoping to improve their lives, my husband and I hope that one day our life will take a different turn.
With the recession we are experiencing here in the US, some people are already losing not only their homes, jobs, sanity, and hopes. That is why I am not surprised that there are lots of people buying lottery tickets hoping that this is their last resort to survive. But we all know that the change of winning the lottery is 1 to a million. But then, hope springs eternal.
I don't really know if I will win or not. I just buy ticket because I think it's fun or I want to play my luck too. A couple of days ago I watched on TV the couple who won 156 Million dollars in lottery and I thought... wow, it is really real. They were telling the host that the first thing they bought was a Mercedes Benz.'
Now, I wonder what will I buy FIRST... when I win 100 million dollars in lottery?

OOh, for that kind of money, child, I would be in the wind!! but not without seeing the financial advisor FIRST and foremost!!! followed by paying OFF my bills which would make me mighty happy to do. Then, saving, budgeting for future means and shopping for a few toys would make me happy!! building my house would make me major happy because then I would be in a place that is mine and mine alone. Buying a brand new spanking new car that get me from point a to b is good too.

Yes, with the current economy we need to be wise in spending our money. We don't know how long a million will last if we will not be wise. thanks.

That's a lot of money here in the Philippines, at current exchange rate that would more or less amount to 400 million pesos. I would be able to buy 400 houses for that! I would invest it on real estate definitely and the earnings that I would get from that, that I would spend for my family and friends, maybe go island hopping here, then go to famous places around the world...

oh, I would buy a very, very big house! With a very large garden, a swimming-pool and many other thing. Then I would buy a supercomputer. After that, I will donate about 10 million dollar to Wikimedia Foundation and other 10 million to Unicef or similar. Then, I don't know! lol...
