The browns of winter

Well it's actually been pretty nice here in Minnesota this week to a degree. No severe storms or severe temps like the past few weeks. But now the past 2 days ahev been really nice with the sun beaming down melting everything. So now we have the winter browns. Not the blues, but the browns. As in, brown grass and brown snow. HAHAHA! Is there a meltdown finally happening in your area? Are you preparing for spring cleaning and planting yet? I can't wait till the ground is soft enough to start digginh up my garden areas. Are you rady for spring?

I am sooo ready for Spring. I am sick and tired of the cold, snow, rain and anything else cold. I want the SUN!! I need some SUN!

I am VERY tired of the cold here. We never really got a lot of snow this year either which sucked as well. I love the snow and want more actually. But now I am ready for green grass and my gardens and flowers and apples etc etc. Gimme a garden shovel not a snow shovel. HAHAHA!

Right now at 2 p.m. Sunday it is over 40 degrees and raining.
Feeling a lot like spring actually. The roads are going to be
nasty tonight that's for sure. Glad I am staying home.

I can't believe the sun is out today and its not so cold. We caught the bus to the mall and hung out with all the kids building lego blocks, then had some lunch at Mcdonalds, bought some cinnamon sticks then caught the bus home. I have the verandah door open and its very nice.
I'm trying to convince my son to come with me for a walk to the 7/11 down the road until I go to the grocery store Tuesday. I have run out of coffee GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

i am so ready for spring I long to get my fingers in the dirt and my toes in the mud it goes warm cold here so im not sure what my poor flowers are thinking. today we have the browns as it has warmed up and the snow is melting , i have discovered i think i like the color brown over the color white lol.

I also am dying for some planting etc. I can't wait. It drives me crazy each year waiting to get the ground ready etc. Won't be all that long though.

Nope we are not yet
In part of the Country it is still bad with Storms and here it is still very strong wind and Cold
The Sun is shinning but they are saying that we have more Storms and Rain to come
So we are not preparing for the Spring yet

nope, here in montreal quebec, there is still winter for at least the month of march. It is a long winter here. We had more snow storms this year so far than we h ave had in the last 20 years.

Well we usually get snow up until late March even onto April. So winter is definitely now over here either. Just the early thaw for now is all. Ughh!! We never got a lot of snow so far either. But I want to see my garden growing. I miss the greens and am sick of brown snow. YUCK!

It was really nice here on Saturday it got all the way to 80.You could not ask for a beter day. But on Sunday it got back to winter weather, it rained and snowed ,but the snow melted fast.The ground here is soft from all the snow we had this year but its to soon to dig my garden,probably have to wait untill April.

Good deal. Supposed to be in the low 40's here today and near 40 Sunday. So lots of yucky melting etc. My car is so gross from road splash and salt and sludge from the melting. Freexing rain and snow mix tonight and early Sunday as well expected. Ugghh!

Here in Central CA we have been having spring like weather. It has been in the low 70's. I have been able to have the house opened. Today the low was only 43 which I am sure is your highs.
I am getting ready to go out in the sun and work in the yard. I will not put any new plants out because we still can have frost.
