I am a new member for Assocaited Content. Is there anyone out there who is a member of AC and have a success story to share. What keeps you motivated to continue to write for AC? Is the earnings fair? Any tips or advice to offer someone like me that just join that may have questions. How long was it before you started seeing earnings?

I am motivated to keep writing for AC because aside from up front payments, may page view bonus always nets me around $100 extra a month, or more

I don't particularly earn much however what I have earned has helped me buy stuff like domain names and gifts. I started seeing earnings about a week after I joined lol. I've written 3 Upfront articles so far. I get about 3.55 for each. It's not great but I'm kind of a sucky writer so I'm happy to get anything. I've only made 84 cents with the paid views. Of course I haven't been a member that long. Maybe 1 or 2 months? Tip: Don't write op-eds or media reviews.

Thank you for the Tip. As my first week, I have only submitted 2 articles so far for upfront payments. From my understanding it can take up to 2 weeks to here a decision whether your articles was accepted or not.

and it can take an additional 2 weeks for payment to be sent. However from my current experience, they review in about 4 days and pay in about 6 after. So a total of 10 days probably for it to be up.

I have made an okay amount there. I haven't been writing so much there lately, but will be back in full swing by next month and at least the month after that. I would say try to find a niche. Find something they don't have a lot of on their site and write a series of articles that differ from one another, but will be enough to get you a bunch of upfront pay. I have done that with a few topics and it has been working out really well for me. Additionally, promote your work and you will increase your page views which in turn will increase the amount of performance pay you get. Also, there are lots of sites out there for making money. If you don't like that one, you can always go to a different one!
