Truly, when a celebrity backs a political figure, I could care less. In my mind, no celebrity can change my feelings on a candidate. That is like having a political figure tell me who to vote for on American Idol (dumb analogy), I vote on what I hear from the singer, not because Senator so and so said to vote for this one or that... I know, clear as mud, right? LOLOLOL I think I'm tired...

Celebrity figures don't always have a good grasp of politics. They are just famous and being famous gives them some weight to spread around. However, it is a perk of their position in life and I see no reason why they shouldn't use it.
