I spend most of my time on computer and because of my DSL connection it's more or less like a tv for me. I download movies and watch tv shows on it instead of on tv. what about you?

You are Lucky enough and I wish you best of lucks. I have no DSL connection; even I have also not land line connect. I use to become online through my wireless phone connection. It is very difficult here to get land line connection. DSL is also not possible. I had land line connection in my old house. But I shifted to new building, where it is not easy to get the land line facilities. The features available on DSL are not here on my wireless phone connection, thus I am looser. But it does no matter as I could participate to respond the discussion you started at mylot.com

I spend far more time on the computer than I do watching television. There are very few television programs that appeal to me nowadays, whereas I can choose my own form of recreation on the computer.

I spend more time on the internet. I can make money on the internet, I can't make money watching tv. I do still watch tv, just not as much as I am on here.

Oh, I spend a lot of time on computer and I watch TV hardly ever. That's because you need to be active using computer and watching TV you're passive. So, I prefer staying hours in front of my PC and not to watch TV

I am sort of, almost like you. My laptop has the capability of becoming a cable television. So I can usually spend time watching and doing my usual computer activities on one screen. Sometimes, if the news is on, I just listen to the news while I go about my business, but to tell you the truth, my television is off most of the time. So in conclusion, I do spend more time on the computer side of my laptop than on my television. My computer has got cable connection with a speed of 1.5 Mps so it can handle running both tv and the computer applications. -Feel Free to Disagree!

I have since walked away from my tv (except for the Apprentice and Survivor sometimes) to be in front of the computer. I wonder if this could be classified as some kind of addiction they will soon be developing and Rx for! I love watching movie too. Chatting with people from different cultures is my favorite. Is it so cool to learn something new everyday! Have you ever met anyone from China? I would love to hear about that place!

I don't watch a ton of tv but when I do, its on the tv. On the computer, I get to side tracked by the other stuff that I need to do. LOL I'm too scatterbrained to multitask!

I spend more time on the computer. I watch certain shows but I know if I miss them for whatever reason I can get most all of them online now and watch them that way. I actually hate that im on here a lot but I just cant pull myself away.

I have no use for my television anymore,I spend most of my time on my computer. Lately trying to make money so my husband says I am a workaholic. While he sits in front of the t.v. Which one is worse? I download movies and he watches them on the t.v. It is an endless cycle.

Hmm good question. Usually I'm doing them both at the same time. There are times when I have set hours where I get off line to tune into some of my most watched shows. I would however have to agree with just about one here, I use my PC as a movie watching machine and so forth. So I think my time is pretty well split right!
