I like SD card much more because it's not expensive at all today. Although Micro SD card is smaller, but at least it's a little bit expensive than SD card. But my digital cameras use XD card which is much more expensive.

I prefer the SD cards although I am really upset because the higher capacity SD cards (from 4GB to 32GB) are different formats that are not read by my card reader, my printer or any other reader I have except for my high capacity SD camera which I now have to use as a card reader. Thanks Zelo

In fact I have not heard of 32 GB SD card yet. It's really quite sad the format is different.

It really depends on the device that is in need of the storage card. For my current modile phone, it uses the standard MMCs and I happen to have a 1 Gb though the real advisable amount would be 512 Mb so that the phone wouldn't be reading too much on the Memory card and drain the battery in just doing so. For our digital camera, it uses SD cards and ours are a 2 Gb as well as another 1 Gb SD Card ^_^

Multi Media Cards (MMCs) are different from Secure Disks (SDs) in one detail, SDs have that lock on its left side while the MMCs don't ^_^

I have not used RS-MMC card before. Sometimes it's no choice for you to select the storage card. It depends on the digital producer.

Me too on the SD cards...My digital camera uses them, also My SatNav,and my Samsung phone uses a Micro SD card which came with an adapter for a standard SD slot..versatile! I didn't find them expensive-got a 2Gb Micro SD card on ebay for about £10...

What a surprise that you don't use them at all.

I prefer SD cards too because they're cheap. The memory card used in a gadget is a factor I consider when purchasing - I made sure my digicam uses SD cards.
