why do we weep when we are sad? is it hopelessness? is it weakness? or is it human nature? simply biology?

we cry because sometimes we are hurting, maybe because we miss, lost or something has happend... crying is a part of human nature we all cry sometimes.. we may cry because its one of our weaknesses aswell.... its just human nature. when we bottle up things inside of us it can make us feel emotional and it will get worse...

It's more like human nature, biology and psychology alltogether. Human nature is to feel; biology provides the mechanisms of crying and psychology gives the cause for such effect. It depends on how much you deeply feel from the events we live. That explains why children cry more and louder...because their understanding is way smaller than feeling...and feeling strong emotions makes them cry: either of sadness, anger, hopelessness or joy...

It's an emotional response..It's natural and does not mean that you are weak...Its simple human nature.
