St Patricks Day... are any myLot crafters making anything special?

Sea Foam Sea Glass Earrings - Two smooth and rounded pieces of sea glass adorn each of these sterling plated earrings. One piece is a light seafoam green. The other, a deeper (olive) green. This gorgeous sea glass was found on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.

I've made a few Green items, not specific to St Patty's Day (well other than my Shamrock Magnet set) but items that can be worn throughout the year. Does anyone have plans to make anything crafty for this day?

You are so ambitious. Wish I had your drive to take on each and every holiday and make such cute items. I don't make anything special for any holiday other than Christmas. I'm limited to where I can sell and would probably end up with stock I didn't need. I need to open a little stand on the corner, like years ago when kids did a Koolaid stand, and sell my crafts..lol Was the Etsy exposure the other day on Martha Stewart's program in your favor?

Crafting keeps me busy on the weekends when it's just a bit too cold to go outside (plus I have a couple of craft shows looming on the horizon and I need to build up inventory) As far as Etsy went on Friday...it was a promoting madhouse...lol. The way the Etsy segment went, if I had been watching the show, I'd have gone to check out the site to see if I could open a store, rather then go as a buyer. I did get a custom order though, so it wasn't a waste of time.

Thanks for reminding me that it's coming. I have 2 St. Pat's birthdays and a box full of decorations that were my Moms that I want to put up. I'm not very creative any more so I won't be making anything crafty myself.

I have actually not been feeling very creative lately. I don't know what is going on, but I haven't done much of anything creative lately. Guess I'm just in a bit of a funk. Maybe I'll put on my beaded necklaces from last year and try to find some inspiration. I'll get back to you.

I went through something like that right after the holidays. I was kind of burned-out from the shows, the custom gift-making and promoting on Etsy. Then Jan and Feb sales were way better than I could have expected and I was "forced" to craft just to keep my inventory levels up. I find that I'm much more creative when it's sunny out, even in spite of the cold weather. Today, my hubby even braved a brutal west wind and went beachcombing this morning and brought back a lime colored piece of glass and several nice pieces I can use for future creations. I made several pairs of earrings and another bracelet.
