Boy do I have my hands fuul! When my Son (my oldest child) was only 4 months old I found out I was pregnant again with my daughter. They are almost 14 months apart and most of the time I love them being so close in age. Now 2 & 3 years old, I have definately got my hands full. They have gotten in this stage where they don't want to take a nap. They fight me tooth and nail. At nighttime too. I think they've gotten where they are scared they're gonna miss something. They share a room so, of course, they feed off each other. When I think I've finally got one calmed down and ready for bed the other starts up. It's nonstop every day. I know they are not ready to stop taking naps all together cause it shows in their behavior in the late afternoon. usually around dinner time. I've tried getting down to teir level and tlaking to them calmly and ask them if they can make mommy happy and tell them they are making me very sad or begging them to go to sleep or telling them they can go outside and play if they can take a nap or telling them they aren't going to nana's today if they don't go to sleep (and I follow through if I say that). I've gone in there and put them both back to bed without saying a word over and over. I've even tried punishing them for playing when they're supposed to be going to sleep. I can't think of anything else to do. Has anyone else gone through this? What can I do to get them to take a nap? What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Wow! yes you do have your hands full. I know alot of people do not agree on this. But I had problems with chloe when she was about 3 with taken naps. I would just go lay down with her. And if she did not want to sleep put something in for her to watch. This worked for me. You might want to try it. GOOD LUCK!
