What is the best gift you ever gave to ur loved ones

I think the best gifts I ever gave to my loved ones would be these paintings I'd make myself. I rarely get to paint nowadays and I only take time to make one for the people that mean the most to me. It's also more personal as a gift because it's something that wasn't just bought, but time, effort and love went into making it.

For Father's day a couple of years ago, I wrote down 365 things that I remember about my dad--his character, things we did together, good times we had. I cut them up and folded them and put them in an easy-open tin so he could have one to look at every day and know every day that I love him. He said that's the best present anyone ever gave him. I was so poor at the time that I felt badly about giving him such a cheap gift even though I know that a gift from the heart is worth more than an expensive one. I'm glad now that I was poor then!
