I just received in my personally e-mail a message claiming to be from BMO that they are canceling my online account do to inactive. I don't bank with BMO so I know it was a scam right away. They are asking for account information and password to keep my online account alive. Please be aware of this and do not give any information to any one online that leaves you a message like this. The link sent to me was from http://chinamedicine.lv/eng/bmo.com/index.htm BE VERY CAREFUL.

Hi Thanks for the warning, I receive many of these and I don't even have accounts at the banks that are sending them so I just report as spam and then delete. Ellie :D

There are so many scam's happening out there these days with people trying to get your bank account log in details. Could I make a suggestion, see if you can contact the banks in question that you receive these emails from and ask for their fraud department to allow you to send the email to them. With enough of the emails coming though, hopefully they will be able to track where they are come from and put an end to it. They may not get you with these emails, but unfortunately they do get some people.
