a few sage words from Way Back!

If you're a Grandparent you have probably heard theses words from your Mother-
"Don't talk with your mouth full!"
"Eat your crust, its good for you!"
And a few more wonderful words of advise we seldom hear anymore-
"Where do you think your going dressed like that?"
"Don't speak till your spoken to!
Do you think our kids are becoming undisciplined?
Are Bad manners becoming a way of life in our society?

Yes I do remember hearing those comments. Yes the kids to day are undisciplined. They don't want to eat is put in front of them. It has to come from McDonald's Not all of them but enough. They think they have to sit in front of the Tv and play video games. Well it's not really safe to let them out alone. They insist on wearing clothes that in my day were considered underclothing. And they like to show their butts literally.

Bad manners are the norm. On a lighter note, remember when your mother said, "If you break your leg, don't come running to me".

I think there are alot of parents out there that aren't taking the time to teach their kids manners. They don't bother so the kids never learn. I had my parents and my Stepmom all teaching me manners and proper behavior when I was growing up but these days I don't see that anymore. These days the kids are running wild, the parents are off somewhere doing their own thing and there's nobody to guide or direct the kids.
