My baby is now 4 days overdue, I think she is just waiting for a name before she arrives, lol. What are you top 3 favourite names? Also if you know the country that they are derived from and meaning that would be good. For example: - Kiran (Indian) - ray of sunshine

Thanks littleowl for the great list of names, I like many of the ones you suggested. I like: Summer, Crystal, Chelsea and Paige. Summer was one of the names my partner suggested but not sure if she will get teased as it is a season (paranoid, since I am a teacher, lol). I will let you know littleowl, what name we decide to give her, thanks agian, my friend. :))

we were clueless on what to name my daughter...we finally settled on emma elizabeth, though it doesn't really matter since we call her "bean-bean" all the time, lol. We didn't want a popular name, but I liked its meaning: universal one. I found a really hillarious site though that should at least make you laugh while you think of baby names...http://www.notwithoutmyhandbag.com/babynames/index.html I was seriously laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes!!

Glad I am not the only one that cannot decide a name. It is also hard when both you and your partner have to agree. There are so many names I like, but we can't seem to settle for a name we both like. Emma, elizabeth is sweet, good choice. I like names ending in a they sound pretty. Bean-bean, lol, how did she get that nickname? My eldest gets called potato masher, from her grandparents, do not know how they got that nickname for her, lol. Thanks for the website I will check it out, I need a good laugh. :))

Hi cher, caitlyn seems like a popular choice. I like your daughters names they are beautiful. It is so hard to choose, I am a teacher and I have heard so many names, still can't think of any. Thanks for your ideas. :))

Congratulations!!!! My daugther is Debora. I like this name...Debora = little bee..ou smal bee. Also.. in the bible Debora was a Judge of the God'people. She was Blessed, courageous, very obedient to God and respected. Once she won a war because the king feared go in the battle without her. and Debora said God would give the victory and the king has accepted only if she was with them. She agreed, the king won..but the honour of the victory was in the hands of a woman... Debora is strong name.

Being an indian you may belong to a religion which doesn't accept the names that i suggest for your baby. So if you can make sure of your religion i shall respond according to that. If you are a christian, you can have priscilla, grace, hannah.

I am not really religious, my mum is indian and my dad is kiwi, so I do not need to worry about my religion not accepting my name choice. So I am free for any suggestions you may have, any culture?? Priscilla sounds nice, thanks for the name suggestions.

I am not really good at names but if you asked me for suggestions I can give you one, "Angelica". I just thought of that name as something like angelic in nature and somewhat feminine also.

I have always liked the name Haylie (hailey) and the name Emily. I also like Alyssa. It was so hard for me to choose a girls name. I had 20 boy names picked out when I had my daughter. When My sister got pregnant we came up with the name Emma Lee. So why you called her by her first and middle name which I often do it sounds like Emily, but yet it was a bit different. However she had a boy so that never worked out lol
