Now when I buy a car, my needs have changed. In the past I used to look for hotted up cars with all the special features. For example my last car (5yrs ago) was metallic purple, spoilers, tinted windows, sports exhaust, CD player, mag wheels. Now my current car is a family Nissan Pulsar, I look for room available in back seats (3 kids), reliable car and the kilometres it has done. What do you look for when buying a car?

I went from a red sports car to a small suv. I really like the change. When I found this one I wasn't really even looking but once I got in it I loved it. Now many people think that I really didn't need something like this but I haul alot of stuff. I do craft and art fairs so loading in this one is a breeze compared to my other car. Also I got one with a four cylinder so I get good gas mileage!

Red sports car, that sounds good, I would like that if I did not have kids. Small suv, not quite sure what they look like. Four cylinder cars are always good, need to save money on fuel. I have only ever had 4 cylinder cars. Thanks for your comments. :)

The first thing I look for in a car is safety. I also like sunroofs and a good, loud stereo!

Safety is definately a priority when looking for cars. Sun roof and loud stereo definately a bonus to have. Never had a sunroof in a car before. :))

Hi Gesusdid, that is a good feature to look for, how many miles per gallon. Especially with the way petrol prices are rapidly increasing. Thanks for your response. :))

When we bought our last car (a Toyota Sienna mini-van) our main feature we were looking for was the amount of seats available. We have six boys, so we needed a vehicle that could seat eight, so the entire family could drive together.
