OMG my hubby usually sleeps on the couch cause i put my daughter to bed before he's ready to get up for work. (she sleeps in my bed with me) but tonight he wanted to get up before she went to bed so he slept in the bedroom where it was more quiet. . When i went to lay down my blanket was SOAKED!! EW!! I have not slept beside a huge amount of men, but the few that i have slept beside have been all pretty sweaty, so my question is... Are all men sweaty sleepers or do i just know how to pick them out of a crowd ? Me on occassion i have woken up in a sweat, but not everynight!! Lets hear your dirty sweaty stories!

LOL Maybe a lot of men are like this sweety but not all men! I am the one who takes night sweats in our house - I have only ever seen him getting sweaty in bed if he was exerting himself in a certain way or if he had the flu! xxxx

Sweaty wilderbeast LOL You made me smile, being a guy myself I dunno about being a wilderbeast but I am sweaty wolf does that count? Mind you I do have an excuse part of the reason why I sweat so much is because of my thyroid, I have an underactive thyroid which has to be monitored, I have always sweated a lot. Unless you see men with big wet patches under their arms, ewwww! You can't pick them out from a crowd. Usually it's due to men being overweight that they sweat profusely.

well wolfie, first off, i dont even know what a wilderbeast is! i just thought it sounded good at the time lol.. and second, my hubby is lucky if he weighs 130lbs wet, and he's 5'9 or so. he's a stickly kinda figure. lol. I dont think he sweats like that all the time. and he never has wetness under his pits.. It's just a sleep thing! weird huh?!

Hi, May be you are too 'HOT'. Please do not categorise all men as your husband. Also there might be women hotter than you they might clean sweat for the sake of their partners.

Sweat While He's Sleeping - Yes mine does too
Yessss mine sweats too when he sleeps. His body is like an oven, hot hot hot and I guess he has to sweat to cool off but gosh, I hate it with such a passion that I won't even consider going to his side of the bed UNLESS I'm freezing my tail off and need to get warm but I have to be pretty darned cold to do that!! lol

I've slept next to plenty of men, and I mean that exactly the way it sounds. I've SLEPT next to them. That's all, before any of your minds try to occupy my gutter without paying rent. And I would have to say that the only men who soaked the sheets in sweat were the ones that I gave something to make them sweaty over before they went to sleep. So I think you just know how to pick them hun. lol

My husband is like that. I don't know why but he sweat too much. Though he is athletic and I supposed had drained all those sweats during a game, but NO. He is just one "VERY" warm-blooded person. I remember his story in his office, people will complain of the very low temperature of the room when he's around, some are already wearing their jackets while he's just relaxing, having the aircon faced towards him. And you bet, our youngest son is just like him. So, when they sleep together sometimes, well, you can imagine the bed, even if the room is very well ventilated, it will look like a pale of water was spilled onto it.

I have slept with 3 of my exs who drank all the time and it is really bad they have night sweats and to top it off they smell of booze and coughing making the matter worse so I know that is why I am happier being single

well back in the day when matt didnt stay up all night playing his games on the computer i would go to cuddle him in the middle of the night, put my arm around him and would get a armfull of nasty wet sweat!!! the blanket would be soaked, the sheets, his pillow!! nasty. But some nights he wouldnt. Their was a time when he would blame it on the blanket. Said he only sweated like that with that blanket but I know thats not the truth. lol

Hubby is the same way though he tends to keep his sweaty self on his own side of the bed . My Mom and Stepdad have seperate beds b/c of this exact problem. He sweats so much and is REALLY hairy which makes it smell like wet dog. So they have seperate beds. It works for them. We have one bed, our waterbed, and I'm not about to let him have my waterbed so for now we share and he keeps his sweat on his own side . **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Come to think of it most guys that I have known in the past are..but it may have been my fault. I have to sleep with tons of blankets always even in the summer- though I do crank up the air to do it. Don't ask me why I do it but I can't sleep without a lot of blankets. Ok so it was probably my fault but it never really grossed me out that bad. I'm weird I guess.

I dont think i am a heavy sweater, since i change sheats and stuff once a week. If i was a heavy sweater then that would not be possible to sleep at all with sweatdrenched sheats(not that i normally sleep well anyway). Would be very interesting to hear if there is anything that causes this to happen, majbe they frequently dream that they are in very hot and dry environments or something.

I've slept with many men, however you want to take that and I have had two very sweaty sleepers. My fiance right now is a sweaty, SMELLY sleeper. For some reason it doesn't matter how many showers he takes that day, his sweat smells like something is rotting. Our bed smells horrible. I've learned to turn the other way. Any solutions to this that anyone knows of?? He must be chemically unbalanced or something.

LOL! The only man I've ever slept with is my hubby and I've never woke up wet.. so I'm thinking you might want to buy a fan for his side of the bed! lol!

I can be a bit of a beast in my dreams, but I'm no Wildebeest and I have never had any complaints about being sweaty - hot sometimes, but that's when I'm awake! I don't snore either. Oh.... apparently I do. Rats.
