It would be such a pleasure to not worry about money all the time. Travelling is all my husband and I talk about when we wish for a windfall. Not likely to happen, but it's fun to think about.

Well, I think you sound like someone who knows what they want out of life. Seriously, sometimes we use money or the lack of it as a limitation to stop us from doing the things that we always wanted to do. Personally, I hope you find the means to travel the world and feel the richness of life that you've always deserved.

I would probably get very fat if I got rich. Somehow, I love eating buffets at top restaurants and would do so more often if I could afford it. But then again, I think the fact that I can even afford to dine well is a sign that I am probably doing much better than I give myself credit for. I am probably richer than what I imagine myself to be - I am rich in people who have basked me in the warmth of their love and friendship - even if the money has not always matched the good will ;)

If I had everything I wanted then I would probably invest it, so that other people can have what they want. Help someone start up a business etc. I am unlikely to give money to charity, because I would like to see what my money is doing directly.

Well, I am sure there are some in here who are better off than others. They are probably the ones who have learned to work themselves up to get where they want to be. Not always sure though even when a person has a lot of money that they are as Happy as they want to be. Sometimes I feel it is a choice in what makes you happy. I personally would not mind having a little more money so I could have a little more Freedom in life. Be able to make more decisions financially as to what I can afford and when, but not to the point of someone like Bill Gates either. I am just wanting a little more Financial freedom and time. To where I could sit at home like a lot of others do and be Happy. Maybe someday somehow, I can get there.

Oh if I was rich I wouldn't have a problem finding places to spend my money. I would go on a lot of trips as I get really restless sitting around and doing nothing. I would give to my family and friends. I would donate to the poor, by walking in the streets and giving the street people money, not by donating to big organizations that most of the money donated goes to their salaries and not to the needy. I would find lots of places and ways to spend my money. I don't think the rich has a problem with spending, I think they have a problem with hoarding their money and not spending or helping the needy.

Hello there, friend. I think that this is a good topic which you have started. If I am rich, I would really love to be setting up my own football club and perhaps I could buy Manchester or something, ha! I would love to own a few yacht and an island to myself and my main key would be to invest. But I would certainly "study" the market trends and not investing blindly though. Helping the poor is a must should I be rich because there's no way that everyone in this world have enough to eat and clothes to wear. We just need to network and remember our roots. Have a happy day. ;)

One never feel too rich. Even Bill Gates doesn't think he couldn't find a way to spend his money. That is only a dream of poor people. When you get rich, you always have ways to spend your money. If I was rich enough, I would donate to the charity agencies to help people who are still poor. And I also want to built a school for poor kids. They can study in the school without any tuition.

If I was rich I'd start by buying more property. Also buy new houses for our daughter's. Probably get another car, donate some to charity and go gambling. Also might buy a small business that I can operate by selling my crafts and other crafter's crafts too. Not sure what order but all of the above would be what appeals to me.

I don't think it is healthy to get EVERYTHING you want! I would help others out.. What is Rich anyway??? I think that everyone has a different outlook on what Rich is!

I would buy apartment in NYC, I would buy a wheelchair accessible van, I would give just tons of money to non-profits and political organizations. I'm remodel my parents bathroom to suit me (I'm in a wheelchair), so I could go home and visit from easily. I'd buy a sweet laptop and desktop. I'd go to Africa, Paris, and take a cruise. That's everything I'd want.

If I was rich, I do not know what I will really do. But, one of the things I might do is to establish a well solid foundation for myself so that I may retire as a middle class person. I am not the type of person who would like to show off my riches if I were rich. For instance, if I were rich, I would not buy a Cadillac or a Porsche, just because I have the money to do so. I would rather get myself a brand new Honda or Ford. I would not build mansions, I will build just a regular average-sized house. And then I will establish a non-profit organization to help pay for the education of kids who cannot afford to attend a private school. -Feel Free to Disagree

There are always many ways to spend money:) If I am rich, I like to travel all over the world as I am quite interested in knowing different cultures and tasting nice food. And I will also have more time for my hobbies. I don't have to work like a machine.

I don't I'd buy a really over the top home or enjoy an over the top lifestyle. But, it would be nice to have the peace of mind that money would bring, and not have to worry about upcoming electricity bills etc. I could buy a nice home somewhere and go anywhere I wanted to at any time. That would be nice! I do have access to clean water, free health care (the NHS!) and have lots to eat, which is more than many people have.
