Its oats that control.........................

I have heard people say that oats taken in the morning as breakfast helps our body not to accumulate calories taken through out the day. Is that true?I would be greatful if in welcoming the relavant answers.

Oats are a low gi food, which means that glucose is released slow and steady into the blood stream, so you don't get hungry, so I suppose that helps you because you won't consume as many calories. If you eat low gi foods you can control diabetes and in some cases cure it.
