i think comparing both ganguly and hayden with sachin does some injustice to little master. Hayden came in to the australian team which was very strong. they dominate the game in all forms so it is easy for the hayden to score runs as he is under little pressure. ganguly came into the team when Indian team was getting a little stabilised. Now sachin played in those days when the whole team depended on him to perform. when he gets out cheaply there was no way india could win and when he scores he creates a lot of chances. he had shoulder the responsbility of guiding the team to victory single handedly. may be ganguly an hayden had been given this responbility i think things would be different.

Yes I also think that they are the world's best opening their ever. Especially when it comes to what they have achieved I think there were very few people who would put fingers on them. They won so many matches for the Indian team that we cannot even count them in our hands. And there was a time when both of them to the whole world. Every opening bowler had a nightmare of bowling to this pair. The best thing about them is that they complemented each other very well. There was a very good understanding between those two. When one was holding up one and the other was playing shorts and then there will exchange the rose. Both were very good stroke makers and that was the reason why they didn't literally made France but actually demoralise the bowling attack and that helped the other batsmen to follow. And moreover it is also imminent that whenever they gave as a good start in most of the percentage of matches we went on to win the match this shows that how important their role was in the Indian team. And that is the reason why I still feel that the board should be given the chance to open the batting. They understand each other very well. And also they have huge amount of experience so in nailbiting games it is very important that these experienced players contribute.

I think there is no doubt in it and they have proved it many many times.I think there is no one in the current world cricket to compare with these players.

There are a lot of good batsmen the world over though I will say Tendulkar has been one of the best for a long time. Personally I like Pietersen from England, and also Alistair Cook is a good young prospect

Every one of the cricketers of today have their own style. But only a few could blend themselves to any situation and Sachin, Ganguly and Dravid are of that kind. They could easily blend themselves with any situation and they are real great players and match winners too. It is really sad 2 out of the 3 are left out for the oneday series.
