under 19 v/s india team

In terms of commitment to the game and handling pressuresi think the under 19 would be better than the indian national team but in terms of technique and energy levels the indian team is better than under 19 team.

I don't know why but every time we have to compare someone with other. Is it so very necessary that we have to compare the under 19 team with the international team. Both the teams had different standards and different type of levels of game to play. And that is why we could not judge the players by the performance in an under 19 World Cup. To support my statement I won't like to tell you that there are a lot of players who played very well in domestic cricket in India. They make hundreds and hundreds of runs in domesticated and when they are given the chance in international cricket day do not perform to their expectation. The reason is that there is a different intensity level when you are playing for the national team. The skill levels required is different, the majority and mental strength required in those type of game is a lot more than what you get in the under 19 World Cup. This is the reason why it is very essential for a young player to gel himself with the conditions of international matches. And those players who can do that properly and only successful.

no!! both the levels of cricket are entirely different and it is not comparable!! U19 guys did a great job and fortune favoured the brave!!!
