Do these moms need to be taught about parenting? I think so!

Moms fight at Chuck E. Cheese's - chuck e cheeses

I can't believe two mothers would act this way at a childrens party at a Chuck E Cheese's but as they say "it takes all kinds"....The mother of a 9 year old boy started a fight with the mother of a boy she said was "hogging" an arcade game! These women are 33 and 38 years old! Where are their brains? There are nothing but arcade games there so why couldn't the son find another one to play? Why didn't the mother show the kid the right way to act when he wanted something he couldn't have right at that moment instead of showing him that you can start a fight to get it? What's wrong with parent's these days? You can read the whole article here: http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/local/BO74580/

Chuck E Cheese - and nutty mom's fighting at a kids party
These idiot moms need a good spanking themselves!! Good grief!! to be fighting at a kids party which is in a public place of all places is completely nuts!! What are these nut cases thinking? And what did they think to accomplish by acting this way? I'm left scratching my head on this one.

I agree parents should be obligated to take some parenting classes. I am 66 and raising a 13 year old grandson and when his school offered parenting classes I jumped at the chance to learn something new. It seems that the parents that take parenting classes are the ones that don't need them. The parents that need these classes will never admit they need help.

You are right. Because a good parent realizes that there is always more that they can learn, even improve on.

i guess they had love so much their children to give the best anything their hearts desire ..unnoticed of the bad effect it had causes..spoiling their children to the max is definitely not good...

I feel the same way about the way some parents act with the fighting they do at sport's events. What are they teaching their kids and why are they acting this way. Take care.

Hi ctrymuziklvr, These mothers need to be taught the basics. They must learn how to act themselves before they can help child learn. It's clear that these parents were not brought up right because they are still acting like children. There could be some real problems with these children later on. Blessings.

That is so sad, I'd hate to see how both of their children end up. Part of parenting is saying "no", it's unfortunate this had to happen, with not only their own children, but all the kids in Chuck E Cheese seeing the absurd behavoir

I think what amazes me the most is that these mothers are the parents of our future. If this is what they are teaching their kids then I am in for it when I get older. I'm also amazed by the difference in kids these days compared to when I was a kid. Its disgusting!

Unfortunately, a lot of parents don't have the common sense or morals to be parents. No wonder our country is having such a hard time!

You are absolutely right. It does take all kind. Now the sad part about all of this is, when the kids grow up thinkin' they can get whatever they want, and if denied, take it by force. The moms are gonna wonder why their child acts that way.

I know exactly what you mean and I've been asking myself that lately as well. My thing is that I think my child is being raised to be too friendly. Why is it that parents don't teach their kids how to share?

These women are poor excuses for Mothers! It just shows you that even adults can be childish. The mother that didn't like that a child was 'hogging' a game should gotten her child entertained with something else, another game, etc. There is no excuse for a mother to start a fight with another mother. She should be put in jail, if you ask me. Lots of people need to take parenting classes before they ever have a child. Some people have tempers so bad perhaps they don't need to have children at all. But, the real problem is this: the mother is not letting her child learn to grow up on his own. She's trying to settle all his problems. Is she going to be there when he gets older and gets in trouble with the law? Is she going to try to FIX the problem then as she has this time?

Oh my goodness. These will be the same people who, in 30 years, wonder why their children are violent! I can kind of understand the frustration. I've taken my kids to Chuck E Cheese and had people hogging a particular game. We patiently wait for a while as I'm explaining to my kids that we have to wait our turn. But, to start a fight over it? That's nuts. Of course usually when this happens, the parents are nowhere around. I think sometimes parents are too afraid of their kids turning their anger on them that they go overboard trying to appease them about everything.

Some people are completely crazy. I personally think these two mothers are out of their minds, and behaving no better than those idiotic parents who fight at children's sporting events. I don't know what the heck is wrong with parents these days.

This is really sad. At the age of 38 you should be more than knowledgeable about public behavior. What would their kids think? How will it affect the kids' behavior in the future? This is totally selfish of the parents, and I feel really sorry for the kids. Also, if there were friends of these children present, there is surely going to be teasing about these moms in the future. How very sad.

some people need to just grow up. You are very right...she shouldve told him that he had it first and he was to wait till the other boy is done. some people over do it with spoiling thier kids and giving them what they want. teach them respect

we need to understand that maturity does not come with age ,thus the issue of 2 suppossedly matured people having such a fight should not be seen as unusual we have seen adults above 50 behve in stupid manners.it happens veryday i think they need to enrol in the school of mturity and sense, afterall common sense is not that common

I have seen and heard of things happening like this before. Parents act worse than the kids do. Instead of teaching the child between the right and wrong way to act, they teach them to fight and pitch a fit to get their way. The parents act this way so the kids will grow up acting the same way. I would be embarrased to act that way.
