Do you have plants? When do you normally water them?I have a cactus so it really does not need much water.I need to water it like 3-4 times in a year.I was planning to buy a regular plant and was wondering if anyone could help me on the watering schedule.

I do have plants, and it depends on the plant. My sensitive plant, I water 3-4 times a week during the winter, but during the summer, I have to water it every day. My herb garden, I water that when the top soil is dry to the touch. Which turns out to be a couple of times a week. My potted trees, well in the winter I only have to water them once every other week or so....

Thanks for the info it really helps. So water less in winter when there is no sunlight and lesser chances of it getting dehydrated and water more when there is sunlight.Got it.

Hi, my plant collection mainly from Aroid family, so I just water them if the media is a bit dry, I dont water them if the media is still wet. If it get damped, it might cause root rot. I also have sansevieria, it really do well in less water and light area. I seldom water these plant coz I wanna make their leaf hard and got a good shape. Watering habit is unique, but I think a same family would have similar treatment
