When you are using your computer do you use back support.I use it but half the time I'm leaning on the Desk or slouching and that gives me back-aches.I should probably buy a better chair. What about you people.Do you use back support?

I hate the chair I use when I sit at my pc so I have a pillow behind my back for support. It's not great but it does the job. I've found that doing exercises while I'm sitting here helps a lot.

Good idea.I'll use my pillow to cushion the chair. Thanks that helped.I do a lot of Gym so that should cover the exercise part.

I do have a chair that has a nice and firm back support, which I sit on when I am using the computer. That's important to me. As I sit long hours in front of the computer, I use the back support constantly, otherwise I will tend to slouch if there is nothing to lean on. Once a while, I will get up and walk around a little before settling back onto the chair. Sitting too long and staring at the computer screen makes me rather lethargic and sleepy.

I can sit for up to 5 hours at a stretch. That's probably why I'm getting back aches, due to the 5hrs of constant slouching and various other uncomfortable positions. The cushion thing is already helping.

You've got to watch your back. Sitting long hours at a stretch and getting joint and back aches is one of the occupational hazards of using PCs. Doing some stretching exercises once a while will help.

My chair is actually great for sitting, but because of the way we all use the keyboard and mouse, I don't really get to lean back on the chair for support. I will usually lean forward on the desk when using the comp. Well, for now, I don't usually have backaches as I do stand up and walk around from time to time to take a break or breather..

For me, a good and comfortable chair is the answer to your problem. I use to have that problem, too. I tried using pillows and back support at my old chair but still I would have backaches and I get tire easily. But now, having my new chair which is bigger, more comfortable and offers good support to your back, I get less aches and I don't get tire easily.
