No not dirty little mind. Been there, tried that, offended some, amused many. So this one is just dirty. By definition (and there were more than I anticipated) dirty means: a. Soiled, as with dirt; unclean. b. Spreading dirt; polluting c. Apt to soil with dirt or grime: (a dirty job at the garage.) d. Contaminated with bacteria or other infectious microorganisms. 2. Squalid or filthy; run-down: dirty slums. 3. a. Obscene or indecent: dirty movies; a dirty joke. b. Malicious or scandalous: a dirty lie. 4. a. Unethical or corrupt; sordid: dirty politics. b. Not sportsmanlike: dirty players; a dirty fighter. c. Acquired by illicit or improper means: dirty money. d. Slang Possessing or using illegal drugs.(ridin dirty) 5. a. Unpleasant or distasteful; thankless: Laying off workers is the dirty part of this job. b. Extremely unfortunate or regrettable: a dirty shame. 6. Expressing disapproval or hostility: gave us a dirty look. 7. Not bright and clear in color; somewhat dull or drab. Often used in combination: dirty-blonde hair; dirty-green walls. 8. Producing a very great amount of long-lived radioactive fallout. Used of nuclear weapons. 9. Stormy; rough: WOW. But what I didn't see in this long list of definitions was dirty mind, dirty mouth (clean it up with orbitz gum) -I hate those commercials- and dirty laundry. So for the purposes of this discussion we will focus on dirty laundry. Dirty Laundry (and I'm not talking about the Don Henley song) means personal matters that could be embarrassing if made public. So I want to know do you have dirty laundry and if so where do you wash it? How would you feel if your friend who knows of the hamper full of it you keep hidden way in the back of the linen closet were to pull it out while you were having a tea party? How would you feel if someone that was close to you published it in the internet? How would you feel if someone started a discussion on myLot about it? I don't get embarrassed easily so as long as the person doing my wash for me keep it discreet enough that it could only be traced back to me by people familiar with the situation then I wouldn't care. I have even started discussions of my own over plenty of my "personal" issues. How about you do you prefer to keep your dirty laundry hidden at all costs or do you like to display it for others to see?

Hey, Cyn! I'm with p1kef1sh here on this one. I pretty much put everything out there, so if someone wants to talk about something, well, I already started it myself and I have no room to complain, do I? My name was put out here recently in a discussion under one of my poems, inadvertently, but no harm has come from it as yet. Who knows, though, there's still time. lol I think that it pretty much sucks that someone has stuck something out here that leaves you swinging naked in the wind, like the sheets on the line, but since it's done now, I think your best course of action would be to just go on and not worry about it. You're a very open person, and you don't pull any punches with anything you say, so if someone offends you, just tell them where to get off. No one can do it quite like you, darlin. Screw 'em, anyway! You rock and if someone doesn't see it that way, then it's their loss.

I think my main problem is that I had already done all my washing, drying, folding and putting away but then someone decides to come along and pull all my whites out of the drawer and wipe their filthy shoes all over them. As for my name...lol...People who talk to me in real life have started calling me Cyn and I swear I answer to it. But you know that. But I don't mind leaving my name out here. I even posted it in someones discussion. Angela is a pretty name though and I think I taint it with my dirty mouth and mind. lol

We have a store room that we could also place our own hampers in it, just to keep it away from the watchful eyes of visitors and friends!LoL We have a back room, where we could do the laundry. Everyone has a day to do their own laundry, so we don't have to overuse the washing machine and to avoid cluttering the clothesline as well as prevent our personal belongings in mixing up..

There's one thing right now that I could say is my dirty laundry and I don't talk about it because it bothers me at times. Sometime I will be comfortable enough to deal with it in an open forum or to a friend. :) But usually I keep stuff to my self depending on the situation. There are 2 people that were told about that situation and I trust those 2 people so for now I will stick with that method. You should know what I'm talking about- you were one of those people hun. Thanks for listening that day on the email.:) Have a good one.

I have a hamper in the hallway (there's a little alcove it fits in) and sort it and wash it in the garage. I don't care that it sits there when people are over, at least if it's not over flowing. There used to be a lid, but a like most things in a house with children, it eventually got broken. Even one has dirty clothes - so it doesn't bother me at other people's houses - as long as I don't have to walk through it.

I must be very boring, but I don't think that I have any dirty laundry other than the clothes sort any longer. I tend to say what I think and will apologize after if it upset anyone. Not that I ever set out to do that. I try not to have secrets, although of course I don't publish my real name etc on myLot, is that dirty laundry? Actually one person does know my name, it took her a long time to get it out of me and I made her work for it. Say what you like about me, I will either cheer or cry.

How dare you fill up my inbox with your dirty laundry. LOL I don't know. Some might think being a closeted racist that likes off colored musicals is dirty laundry. Hey, what are my thongs doing in your basket?!?!

Since I usually do my own laundry I dont really have worry about people knowing what dirty item Ive got. but since I do share a house with a brother, I usually washed personal items that are dirty in my own bathroom. I wouldnt like for it to be displayed, but then again I wouldnt also go to lengthy process to specifically kept it hidden from friends.

We do our laundry in the garage which I never thought of until moving here, it is so good having all the stinky clothes out there!
