will online market can withstand after 5 years

We are living in a highly progresive world.Now, as we are experiencing a tremendous growth and every new system and technology is out dated within a few days of lanch and a new technology takes over the old.
Will the online market will grow in mere future or it will lose its stat.

It's true that as soon as you buy a new computer or piece of technology, it is out of date, but I think there will be many new innovations and improvements in what can be done on the internet in future.
