The Name "Fat kids For Life" seems to promote childhood obesity, I think a more generic name would be better. I know many overweight children but don't know whether anyone would participate in this, there seems to be many of these type of organizations already but I applaud you for trying to help out.

That is killing all the children in the world a global catastrophe i should say. Coz in this busy world parents tends to make everything easy nowadays and they are not so worried about what they feed on their children like fast food chains and take aways. Train them young and give them the right nutrition when it comes to food .. And that worries me because Obesity is so hard to cure.

Don't worry about your child at this point. He's so young, every child grows at a little different rate. He probably is just growing very quickly at this point. If you have any concerns, just start reading up on nutrition. Try to eliminate as many processed and pre-packaged food products from your own diet as possible. These are the biggest culprits, combined with a lack of activity. If you cultivate a nutritious, natural, real food diet from the time he starts eating solid foods, he will grow to like it by habit. You can even find recipes to make really super healthy baby food at home. Good healthy diet plus keeping your child away from the TV and interested in active play are usually all that is needed to prevent obesity. I hope your friend finds something her boy will like to do. Sometimes it's just a matter of making them give something a good long try till they develop some skill and start really liking it.

yes thx for your comment. i love it. I believe in you. that at this time he might be just growing too fast. doctor said it's OK too. but be aware of the meal given to him. she doesn't let us give him any solid meal untill he is 6 months old. 50% of obes children are diabetes too.
