Procrastination

How often have you said to yourself, "I'll do it tomorrow." or maybe even just "I'll do it later"(Gasp!) ? I know that I don't actually say it to myself that often, it just sort of happens and then the deadline or whatever I wanted to get done just slips right by unnoticed. So I procrastinate a lot, in the end. Most of the time I need to get something done, it will be done later than I hoped to do it, but I usually end up doing it on time. Still, sometimes it can be a problem. What are your own personal experiences with procrastination? Has it become so bad that it ruins things that you planned to do? Or are you so punctual that the very thought makes you shudder?

i have this habit of writing things down on my planner on a day to day basis. when i am unable to do certain tasks when i'm not in the mood (which i always am) then i dawned on me that i do procrastinate a lot when its time to change yearly planners and i still write some of the things from my old planner! but i really dont like doing things when i am not in the mood. its like twice the hard work. the only setback is that i could still do some other new things, had i not moved the task/s yet again.

I am one of the world's biggest procrastinators. I think I work best under a short deadline. If I have a good bit of time available to do something, I rarely do. I've had a paper for 2-3 weeks now that I needed to have filled out thoroughly for a dr visit. That dr visit was this morning at 10:00 a.m. What time do you think I did it? :)

I will not lie, I am the queen of procrastination.. I'm always like "I'll get to that later." And never get back to it until it's almost too late. The only thing I never procrastinate on is my Rent and Bills, I'm on time for those...I hate late fees... My procrastination has ruined small things, but nothing major, I'm hoping to change that flaw about myself this year, before it is too late... And Yes, I have already started, can you believe I didn't put it off this time...LOL

I'm bad for procrastinating about mailing things...or exercise. I think oh i'll do it after i finish this but then when i finish whatever it is i find something else to do rather than exercise or mail an item. I'm also VERY bad for putting off dishes... I hate doing them and even worse i find myself doing them late at night before i can go to bed when i'm tired and grumpy and i end up not doing a great job or having to rewash them before im done cause i notice i missed somehting or i dump somehting down the wrong drain. I get things done minutes or even an hour a head of a deadline...They look better then than when i take the time to do them days ahead of time.
