My friend is a university student, he want to get some part time job to earn money. I suggest him to do the tutor, but he want to deal the foreign exchange. I think that risk is too high. Do you have good idea for the part time job?

Yea, I think it's like gambling. The risk is very very high, but in return it provides you with a much higher income. But I suggest not to do it, since he could loose much money, it's too risky. I agree with the idea of being a tutor. By this he does not only earns money and help other people, but also refresh his memory of subjects! =) Maybe if he teaches college students as well, he could concurrently review his studies. Some of my friends work in fast food chains, restaurants. I think many students work there. Maybe the wage is not so high, but it's worth a try; since many companies preferably employ students. Or he could also work in the library, I'm sure they need help there. =)

If you are in US, you can easily get a job in McDonalds or any takeaways and one can easily earn 5$/hourx7days. There are lot of Indians who sell in train stations, fresh orange juice and magazines. There are thousands of partime jobs are available between 3 to 3 dollars an hour.

yeah it does contain risk. but maybe the payback is higher too. when you try to make sure it is safe and nothing to worry, maybe you would choose the higher efficiency way to make money, don't you? besides do the tutor is not always safe too if you meet somebody bad... hehe
