How do you like eggs to be cooked...

Which is your favorite way to cook them? I like them fried, sodden or mixed. Do you know a new way to cook them? Do you like them salty and with kitchen herbs or without?

I love eggs! Fried, scrambled, poached, hard boiled, yum. I adore omelettes. I like Western omelettes the best. Throw some tomatos, some bacon, some cheese, onions, peppers and ham at it and I'm ready to go. I usually add just a bit of salt and pepper but some salsa is nice too.

Hmmm, this is a good question. :P I prefer my eggs scrambled... Yummy... And when they are almost done, add cheese to them and have that melted in there... That sounds really good with some ketchup! :D

I am not a big egg eater. You need to eat so many eggs because they do have some health benifits to them. When I cook the eggs just for me I like to boil them for five minutes and break them up into bread. I call them the eggs you break bread up in. I think my mom says they are hard boiled eggs. Either way they are good this way. I put on a little slat and peper. My husband likes when I scramble them in a pan with a little milk, salt, and peper. I then add a little steak so that it give them a little extra flavor. He then makes a sandwich out of these. He has high cholesterol so I have to make sure he doesn't over do on the eggs. My daughter will eat eggs any way I fix them. At easter she like to make hard boiled eggs so that she can color them. She also likes this time of year because she gets lots of eggs to eat. As the mom I have to watch everones cholesterol so I do not fix a lot of eggs. I do make sure we eat some though. When I cook them I do not use anything special.

I belong to brahmin community, most of whom are called priests and we donot consider egg as vegetarian and hence we do not take egg. But I do go to parties where my friends eat both egg preparation and non-vegetarian food. According to family history, none of us take non-vegetarian food and eggs. Several decades ago, even mushrooms were not considered as a food item.

I usually eat my eggs scrambled with lots of pepper on them and ketchup. On other occasions I like my eggs cooked over easy, then I put them atop grits and mix them all together with salt and pepper. Good stuff! I am not a big egg person, so I don't eat them often. My daughter loves eggs. She makes them for snacks occasionally.

Hi Rainbow. Thanks for providing this good discussion about egg and the preparation for egg in m daily meal and the menu. Previously, I hate egg as it is commonly known as the great contributor in producing bad cholesterol(LDL). But, after I've gone through with my HLB blood Test (Heighte-Laggard_Bradford), to repair my damages blood cell that has been effected by ROTS(Reactive Oxidative Toxic Species), nowadays, I have to eat two(2) half-boiled-egg per day in/for two(2) months. So, I like it(egg) to be well prepared as HALF-BOILED without any herb or else. I used microwave cooking with time setting for only 45 seconds/Medium. I'm happy now, as it really works for me and my red blood cell really improved a lot. Happy postings and earnings. Happy Dappy.

I like omelette and sunny side up eggs. HOw I like it cooked depends on what goes with it. For omellete, I especially love to have some ham and cheese rolled into the omelette. For sunny side up, I would love them to go with daing the bangus and danggit. Simply yummy! Now I gotta go and cook some!
