I usually get my 8 glasses a day. It helps me to flavor them slightly with lemon drops and to always keep a glass nearby.

I just realized that using the term "glasses" could be misleading. Technically it's 8 cups (8 ounces to a cup), so a total of 64 ounces. How many glasses that turns out to be is dependent on what size glass you're using.

I am always confused on this because I add blackcurrant squash to water or drink flavoured waters, added with a touch of apple, cranberry or orange for example whether that still counts? Plain water is boring I agree but I always keep a cold bottle on my desk, save knocking it over onto the keyboard which I've done in the past with glasses or mugs! But fluid is fluid after all, and one can argue that tea and coffee and fruit juice could be included with the 8 glasses a day. No professional has ever stated that water should be drunk as plain water as part of your 8 glasses.

Oh, 8 glasses? I haven't done that even when I was suffering cold. Never for once have I paid much attention to how much water i have drunk, for you know usually the body can function itself so well that there is no need for us to force ourselves and also we could also take in a large amout of water from fruits or dinner

You it seems hard to screw yourself up to drink the water but I find the method!
I poured the water in 2 bottles (one 0.5 l other 1 l capacity) and carried with me wherever I gone... when it become difficult I started to drink.. This is the method how I accustomed myself to drink the water :)

I hate drinking water. The only time I drink water is when I am really thirsty! I know I need to drink more because I do dehydrate from time to time, but it is very boring, I dont even like that flavoured water. But I have been buying some bottled water and putting it in the fridge, when its ice cold it is not too bad and I make sure that I try to drink some with every meal, so I can try and get into the habit of it.

8 glasses or more, actually 8 glasses is the average, but you must consider also what climate do you live in and what season, like if it is summer season, 8 glasses is not enough. and beside cooling down our body temperature, drinking water flushes-out toxin in our body, so drink as much as possible, because there is no overdose in drinking pure water.
