This is so not funny!! Just a few days ago I posted a discussion about how we were seeing birds outside. Then Saturday there was warm weather, sunshine, the heat was off and windows were open and again I'm thinking Spring is right around the corner. Morgana even found a baby cricket in the living room that had snuck in so I was 100% sure that Spring was going to be here any time now. Then I woke up this morning :( There is like 3-5" of snow outside, it's still coming down hard and the heat is back on and I'm crawling in my hole again. I had to go down to the office to drop off our rent check and I was the first one to make tracks in the snow (no one else is dumb enough to be out in it). I was so hoping for Spring. It's going to take days for this stuff to melt and that's only if it ever warms up again. Here's a pic of what it looks like. If you look close, you can see my tracks in the snow, more snow falling and snow blowing off the roofs. I'll be so glad when Spring gets here. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Here in Northern Illinois I don't get excited about a break in the weather until at least April. It was 50 and gorgeous here Sunday morning and by Sunday night it was freezing rain. This year has been a little crazier than others as far as the weather goes though. And last year by March 10 we were experiencing record temps near 80 according to the local weather man. Hang in there twoey, winter can't last forever!

I am sorry for your weather change... it is that time of year! It can be awful. One day the sun is shining and 50 degrees... the next day you can't stand up cause you have a north wind and you are freezing. I know how you feel... I am so sick of this weather... Sadly I do know spring is coming tho... cause my allergies are in a full blown wreck!

It's the same here in Texas, we have two days of really nice weather, then it turns to cold, and windy again! This has been an unusual season already!

LOL I'm sorry. I am soooo ready for spring myself. It was snowing here yesterday (in Northeastern Washington) and we were rather bummed. We have had a long hard winter with over 6 feet of snow in places! Patiently waiting for spring................

When I lived in Alberta that happened all the time. Of course in Alberta we could get snow all year round and I lived in Calgary not the North part of the province. My first year there we had at least one day of snow every month. The crazy thing was in July the day before my birthday it was like 40 degrees the next morning I woke up with plans to spend the day outside enjoying the city only to find about a half a foot of snow that stayed for 2 days. It was like that all year round for the whole time we lived there.

We are experiencing the same kind of weather in Missouri. It was 78 degrees out Sunday, in the 20's yesterday and today we are having a blizzard. Suppose to get between 3 and 11 inches. Next forecast is for 40 degrees so some of the snow "dump" we are getting today will melt. I'll shovel the driveway partially and my husband can do the rest. He's younger...lol

awwwww so sorry that ya woke up to snow again. Hopefully will be the last one ya get this winter. I always loved to get out and be the first to put foot prints in the snow so refreashing to be able to do it. For me any way.

I don't know where exactly you live, but we get that in Ohio all the time..Like yesterday, it was in the upper 60's and beautiful, but today the high is only going to be 35 and I believe they were talking snow later this week.. I too am so ready for spring, but I know that it really won't come here until at least mid-May and that would be early.. Hang in there twoey, spring is on it's way..:)

We must live really close. Sunday it was 78 degrees. And right now, I am watching it snow. The only one excited about this is my 4 1/2 year old. She sees snow and thinks time for another snow man. I called to make sure my hubby made it in to the office without incident.

Sounds like Indiana this week. The week started out cold and rainy. By midweek, it was high 50s and sunny. Today it snowed and turned sunny again. Weird, but typical for this area. Annoying, ain't it?

There are literally people I know both where my wife is from (Africa) and where I live (Florida) that have never seen snow before. We went up north a few years ago so she could experience 'snow' and we got caught in a white-out around the Memphis area... found a truck laying salt and removing the snow from the roads and followed it for many hours. To say the least she is not as excited to see snow again. Snow is one of those things I like to visit for a couple days and then say goodbye.... Spring shall be here all too soon (and for us in the South the hot weather). Thanks Zelo

Our weather here in Missouri has been all over the board lately. It will be in the 70's one day and the 30's the next. Last week it was a ton of rain. I cannot wait for spring to get here. Maybe then we will get some normal weather.

I know what you mean. Our winters here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada are way too long. It usually starts to warm up in March and we have had some nicer days, but not nice enough for me. And it doesn't last long, the nicer days, and then it is cold again. We have about 4 feet of snow here so we need a lot of nice days for it to all melt. At least you can consider yourself lucky you only have 4 to 5 inches so that shouldn't take too long to melt. At the rate the snow is melting here it will take at least another month or longer before we have no more snow. I wish I lived where you do. lol
