How much income is enough?

We earn money to support our needs. We allot money for food, clothing, education, utilities, house supplies, rental, recreation, a little luxury and others. The distribution of these expenses depends on our priorities in spending. The rule of supply and demand applies also here...the higher the income...the higher we spend. Considering the abovementioned and our preferences in life, it is really hard to determine, how much is really enough. If you were to be asked, how much monthly income do you need to in order for you to live decently?

I agree with you, but people's need is unending, we are greedy. you will discover the fact, money is always lack, lol... For me, now I think five thousand RMB is fit for my need and my ability, but life and fact is cruel, my boss give my less money.

yes, it is really hard to determine how much money we really need because if our income goes higher, our needs become bigger too. I don't understand what RMB means and I don't how much is that in our currency but I hope you'll achieve that in the future. Good luck!

in my views making money is very easy but earning respect is very difficult so i would love to earn self respect first, so i would say many is very easy to earn and self respect very tough so we should talk about self respect first then money.

I agree with you, self respect is much more important than money, but are talking here of how much income is enough, self respect is another issue.

I agree. No matter how big your income is, it's always not enough.

If you can pay your monthly bills and still have some money to buy things you like/need, then it's enough.

Yes, you are correct. Happiness is not only in monetary terms but on how you enjoy the little things you buy from it.
