Nobody can argue that Chad Johnson is a great reciever that goes without saying. On the other hand his bad influence within the team is finally starting to cause a problem and he is asking to be traded. My question is do you think the Bengals should try to work this out and keep him, or if not who do you think will trade to get him

They better hope so. He is the only legit superstar they have.

Chad can either play for the Bengals or he can sit out football this year. If he sits, no one is gonna want an out of shape player who is trouble. The Bengals are not gonna trade him. It's not the salary cap, it's the precedent. If they trade him for throwing a temper tantrum, any unhappy player will pull the same stunt. then you get a locker room of whiners instead of players. So, you stand tough with the first one and the others get the hint.
So sad too. the Bengals can be a good team. If they could learn to work and play together.

I don't think that the Bengals will trade Johnson. Even if they trade him they will still have his signing bonus against their salary cap and that is a lot of money for a player who is gone. I don't think that Chad is going to sit out the season either, many players have said this in the past and they all ended up playing. Chad will sit out the entire offseason and maybe the first few games but he will play this year and it will be for the Bengals.
