Aww. I think complaining helps! I have burnt my tongue really bad on a bottle of milk that my partner had heated up too hot and then put in the sink, i went looking for the bottle took a big sip out of it!! It was so hot and i burnt my top lip and my tongue. I am very thankful i didn't burn my sons mouth like that!

I have done that a time or two. I usually drink a small glass of ice cold water or milk. Or I just suck on an ice cube. Makes it a little numb.

You could try milk, cold milk will sooth the burn. It has worked for me in the past and milk is also good to drink after eating something very spicy, because it calms the heat. Try that and see if it works. I hope you feel btter soon.
