I often carry 50-150RMB. At least I could ensure to take a taxi if I have a urgent thing to do.

I sometimes just bring enough for a cab for the next day but if my husband is picking me up I rarely bring some money. I have with me my credit card and atm. Better safe when someone tries to rob me I don't have cash in hand.

Yeah that is a wise decision not to carry unnecessary money to invite trouble.

I don't carry much, when I go out on a Saturday night into town I know how much I am going to spend and I will take the exact money I don't take any more with me, I leave all my plastic at home that way if I am mugged they won't take much. I always have a note in my back pocket so if I lose my wallet then I have got enough to get me home and I am not left stranded. It's usually about £30 I have on me and some loose change.

To be honest with you in the states everyone has debit cards ,so people usually carry very little cash. I usually have only a few dollars with me because everywhere I go they accept debit cards.

It depends on where I am going and how much money I will be needing. I also carry a debit card with me. I usually carry more money than I need too though. I do not use a purse, so my money in in my pocket. It is a lot harder for someone to mug me when my money is in a pocket than in a purse.

normally, I would only be carrying cash for my fare to get to my destination and then my ATM/debit card in case I have something to buy. So the cash I would be carrying is about 300php or about a little less than 10 dollars.

depends where i am going. if i am going in a nearby area then around 100 bucks n if far then around 500 bucks. i dun prefer to carry too much cash as i have a tendency to shop nething randomly hence i prefer to keep the minimum amount .

Hahaha I was reading the heading and I thought "that sounds like a question a mugger would want the answer to" lol and you said it yourself in the main part of the discussion! I generally like to carry about £30 in cash with me at all times, which is not really necessary in this day and age of credit cards which I always carry on me too... I usually have about £5 in coins and the rest in notes, never know when I'll need change for a public car park or something...

Hi Balasri. Daily cash in my handbag/purse not more than MYR100.00 (USD28.57) or less. Just enough for any contingencies expenditure, once required. For my meal it is not much to standby, MYR10 just nice per day.

It depends, Sometimes, I carry around Rs1000 in my wallet. There are times when i have just Rs50-100. Since i have my debit card with me always, I am not very much bothered how much money i have in my purse :) However, most of the times, i carry less abount with me... jus to avoid loosing it/gettin robbed :) How about u? How much do u carry?

hi balasri, normally i carry only 10 dollar with me when i go out to shop. Then when i have don't enough money to buy i will withdraw from bank. this will help me to minimize my use in money. I will think before i withdraw my money.

I carry between $5 and $20. I don't like traveling with no money. It makes nervous to be traveling with not a cent in my pocket.

Bala! Yeh andar ki baat hai.....LOL! I carry sufficient amount of money with me always. I feel that I should have sufficient amount of money, when I am going out, you never know about any emergency. My father taught me that always carry more money in your pocket, whenever you are going out, do not spend the entire amount, but keep it for any eventuality or emergency. But now a days, even if less money is being carried, my debit card helps me making purchases. What about you? How much do you carry?

My pouch - The extension of my arm.
I will always have a 1000 bill and two 500 bills in one compartment of the pouch I always carry .And in the front compartment I keep the 100s 50s and tens. And in the side zip pouch I always carry sufficient coins for the pariking lot attendants and tips. That is how I have been carrying my pouch all these years.

I never have more than about $40 (US dollar equivalent, or £20) as I just don't have much money! LOL! Seriously don't the majority of people use some sort of cash substitute these days like an atm card?
